Thank you to Adam Fletcher Sasse and all the historians of Nebraska Black History. My parents were in their late teens and early twenties in Omaha at the time covered in this video. They are white, and tell my siblings and I that there were no racial tensions in Omaha when they were growing up. They say the tensions nowadays come from liberals who want to stir up trouble. I have one sibling who believes them. Documenting the truth is vital.

Thanks for getting so much of Omaha's history WRONG. I'm almost 70, I grew up and STILL live in North Omaha, so I LIVED this history and know it. The riots were NOT started by a rock being thrown at a police car, the schools were not segregated in the 1960's, I went to school in the 1960's and have pictures to PROVE that it wasn't segregated. Thanks for causing more hate and division that there ever was in North Omaha by you fabrication of North Omaha history.
