I like how one of their big QOL changes was optimizing wasting artifact XP; meanwhile they easily have the means to copy from HSR and make it so that you can recycle artifacts into artifact XP and save storage space, so not only do they have a good example of how to circumvent the artifact storage space issue, *THEY LITERALLY ALREADY HAVE THE ARTIFACT XP RESOURCES IN THE GAME FROM THE TEAPOT*

I see people saying that Honkai is their favorite franchise and Genshin is just where they test stuff, and this "QOL" change has really cemented that idea to me; the fact that there's STILL no improvement to the standard banner pity, STILL no shop updates for buying 4 star cons, STILL can't convert weapon billets to other weapon types, STILL can't play the quest or obtain weapons from old events, STILL can't repeat domains more efficiently, STILL have to use resin on weekly bosses, STILL have to wait a year for strongbox updates instead of adding all artifacts to it and adding new ones when they come out, STILL have to tediously farm mob drops from around the map(at the very least, remove the limit on the adventure book tracker, nobody uses it cuz it just stops tracking enemies meaning the interactive map is so much better since you can actually farm ALL the enemies in the world), STILL haven't updated the spiral abyss buff cards whatsoever, etc.

the list of ignored QOL changes since nearly the very beginning is INSANE, who the hell asked for TCG spectating over something as simple as weapon billet type-conversion? it honestly baffles me how they have such a great base game, yet don't take advantage of it's potential, and don't make meaningful improvements to it

It's time Mtashed becomes like teccy and accepts the game for what it is. Hoyo wants Genshin to be exploration focused with amazing lore and that is all it is going to be. Maybe he needs to just toughen up for a year, and wait for Zenless Zone Zero to come out, as that seems like a game he might love.

I don’t know man the game needs some co-op modes like hunting bounties or some Monster Hunter type stuff, single player gives maybe a week of content.
