Use case: TidEA, Tidal Energy Assessment Noveltis

To date, there is no global solution providing a first level of information which allows for site assessments for tidal energy devices (tidal current speed, tidal elevation, tidal power etc...).
NOVELTIS has developed a unique solution to provide this information: TidEA, Tidal Energy Assessment.
TidEA lists all the worldwide coastal regions and offers data up to 100 meters deep. For each selected site, you will find the maximum current speeds, the power density and the indicators of occurrence of some specific speed thresholds. TidEA is used by different types of end-users : NAVAL GROUP and SABELLA for the tidal energy project development and KRAKEN SUBSEA for their business development.
