FAVORITE HOMESCHOOL WRITING CURRICULUM || Using IEW

Language Arts Programs are all over, but in this week's video I'm previewing IEW's structure and style level 1A. Our oldest has been through several different IEW programs, but I wanted to take a step back to make sure that she is really developing a strong base. What do you use for writing?

Thank you so much for your reviews - super helpful! My oldest will be third grade next year but has ADHD, and I’m a little concerned about the length of the videos (that they won’t keep his attention). What is the longest video and could I split them up? Would love any insight or advice! Thank you!!

In your opinion is level A1 ok for a very reluctant writer with ADD 3rd grade? I don’t want it so advanced that it will frustrate her.

I’m so interested in this! We are going to use the poetry memorization from IEW (My oldest is going into 2nd grade). Did you use that?

We use All about Reading and Spelling now and will for the next school year. What are your thoughts on switching to IEW in 3rd grade? Too late? Does this cover everything you need for Language Arts?

Hey, thank you for this, I am not a great writer or with grammar, I am so doing this when my kids an in 2 grade. Can you tell me if they have lessons they can watch and then they also grade? I am very concerned that I will lead them in the wrong direction... Is there someway for them to watch do the work with me but have the company or how to grade?

So pumped about showcasing IEW for all of you. We have been a fan of IEW for years now. Just a note: Level 1A is a bit too easy for our oldest so I'm using this as a review, and she is moving on to the following week every 3 days. Once she's done with this then we'll move on to Level 2A.
