SDSU 'I Believe' 30-sec spot

The new commercial was inspired by the "I Believe That We Will Win!" chant, made popular by SDSU's student section during the Aztec men's basketball unforgettable run to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen.

Shot throughout San Diego County, the spot features various community members repeating parts of the chant. Along the way, energy builds as the chant is joined by famous Aztecs such as Ralph Rubio and Mayor Jerry Sanders.

The final shot features hundreds of Aztec faithful coming together in front of iconic Hepner Hall, marching and chanting, "I believe that we will win!"

Glad to see that San Diego State is trying to emulate Utah State University traditions. Maybe someday they will perfect it like the Aggies have.

@pope909 SDSU does it better? Utah State perfect this chance, and then SDSU stole it directly from us. If you can convince me SDSU would have ever done this chant had it not been for seeing USU do it, then people will stop saying you stole it. But you can't, end of story.

Gonna be honest. I liked the Aztec for Life commercial better than this one.
I love doing the "I believe" chant but it's not ours (nor is it Utah State's so shut up you ugly Aggies). I think we should have done the fight song or something instead. Just my opinion, but either way, I'm an Aztec for life.
