THE MOST ICONIC HOCKEY ARENA IN THE USA!

American superstars have taken the NHL by storm in recent years… but where did it all start? The USA Hockey National Team Development Program moved its headquarters to Plymouth, Michigan nearly ten years ago and its new home arena has played home to elite players such as the Hughes brothers, Brady Tkachuk, and Cole Caufield, to name a few. Not to mention other stars such as Auston Matthews and Matthew Tkachuk went through the program before the relocation. So with all of this in mind… take a look at this beautiful barn, and the players we just happened to run into during our tour!

That fact that there is a Chanel now makes it so much more easier to find the videos as they come out.

I live 25 min from this arena. Had no idea Jack Hughes trains there in the summer but now I really wanna go there every day and watch.

Imagine going to a rink for a work shoot and Jack Hughes, Zach Werenski, Alex DeBrincat and Dylan Larkin just happen to be training

That was the Plymouth Whales stadium before they moved to Flint. Seguin, Justin Williams, Tom Wilson, James Neal, and others played there too.

This rink was originally Compuware Arena and the Plymouth whalers played there I used to go to games all the time growing up it was the best experience I was in the kids club so I got to do all sorts of cool stuff with the team they did pizza parties and we got to skate with them I’ve skated both those rinks a bunch and I played hockey at the Ann Arbor ice cube and that’s where USA was before they moved the whalers actually had a lot of successful players that made it to the NHL like James Neal and Tyler Seguin i have a lot of autographs and memorabilia I even got to meet Nicholas Lindstrom and Thomas Holmstrom
And get their autographs at that arena so many good memories

Rink is really nice but University of North Dakota rink is not only the nicest facility in college it is the nicest rink in the world hands down. Marble floors, bars at both ends, one is home to the old Organ from Chicago stadium. Lockeroom has slide glass doors, and the weight room is bigger than this. Not to mention they have their own chef. Program has the most former players that have played in the NHL as well. Belfour, Toews, Oshie, Parise, just to name a few.

A former player Ralph Englestad donated $100 million dollars and the rink opened I believe 2002 and they have since put $25 million worth of upgrades into. Believe part of that was a walking treadmill in a pool.

that olympic sheet is where Detroit catholic central hs plays, compuware youth program plays out of there as well, and you can just rent the ice and have a drop in on the nil size sheet, couple years ago I used to play every Wednesday night in this rink and it was just a bunch of us old dudes playing

Ay, The old home of the Plymouth Whalers! Went to a couple of games growing up and recently went to it. Still an odd barn, but still a nice arena!

I would've thought MSG would be the most iconic

I miss the Plymouth original team that played in that Arena. Then they relocated to Flint and became the Firebirds and I haven't been to a game since they moved.
