Fix your patch antenna direction, you might get better video signal.

Noticed you have the BZGPS mounted on top, which is probably why it performed so much better. Would like to see a side by side comparison of4.3 and 4.4 where everything else is the same

the three GPS modules of BZGNSS are called BZ-251, BZ-181 and BZ-121 (Aliexpress) and the are exactly the same as the new GOKU GM10 Pro, Mini and Nano V3 GPS (Flywoo) isn't it?

I think INAV already had this type GPS rescue, also way point mission planning.

You could have put a link in the description or pinned comment if they sent it to you and you liked it it would be nice to help them out

I can get 23 Sats using old tech GPS here in the UK....The RTH behaviour has precious little to do with that GPS receiver. Rather Betaflight 4.4.
Let's make that clear...🤔😏😏🇬🇧

Loving this. Can't wait to build my own mavic-ish quad minus the DJI remote ID handcuffs.

Its leveraging the EU's Gallileo GPS sattellites, in addition to the US GPS system, and all systems falling under GNSS, including Russian system called GLONASS in addition China has its Bei Dou sattellite constellation of GPS sats (likely also used in calculating a position). so yeah there are way more sattellites up now that can be used...what is happening now via software and GPS rescue wasn't possible with less than 12 visible GNSS sats without intensive processing just 5 years ago...its not just the module or the software enabling this new capability, its a global investment in launching GPS sattellites to INCIDENTLY enhance this system, it only takes one massive coronal mass ejection to ruin every sattellite so enjoy it while it lasts, but its definitely is a massive bump to not losing a major build to poor video or control link. NO LR QUADS LEFT BEHIND! Great intro to the exciting potential for seamless recovery....if you dont need iNavs mission planning, then BF just got alot more interesting for longer flights over dicey terrain...like mountains and valleys..I wonder how it works for wings?

Nice feature demo. I see 2 versions of their GPS available. It looks like the difference is the magnetometer(compass). Was this BZ-181 or BZ-251? I would like to read specs from the manufacturer. It looks great!

Not having a compass and barometer are the only reason why GPS rescue doesn’t behave property sometimes and that’s why the quad starts acting up. It just takes longer for the quad tk determine what it needs to do and which direction it should be facing.

DJI were the only company that had access to this sort of technology???? Not heard if INAV, it's been RTH quads for years!

It’s almost 2023 and people still use patch, directional antennas pointing to “whatever”. I don’t get it….

The HGLRC M80 Pro is the best one I have had. I had mixed mixed results with the QMC5883M8Q's

Can't find anything on BZGnss, you have a link to the site? I'd like to try one on a long range quad

why do you say that only DJI got this kind of technology ?? inav dos this RTH for a long time and you can customize how you want it to handle (does it climb first so taht may helps to get siganl again) will it comes and then lands or not...
