I’ve found my lady is extremely sensitive to touch, and loves massage, caresses, touching. She does get erect sometimes but generally not. Her sexuality isn’t really based on the penis anymore. If it feels good to be touched we will do that, other times I just leave it alone.
It’s harder to be the lover of a trans woman from my experience. Sexuality is much more variable and there’s fewer cues than with a cis woman.
Thank you for being so candid. It helps many people who are transitioning and their partners. It seems there are a lot of common feelings and experiences.

I think the term you are looking for is "act'. To you, the 'act' of sex has far less meaning than the sensuality that surrounds it. I learned THAT long ago and I'm not even trans. I am a cis guy with severe ED. You learn really quick that the 'act' means far less than how you treat your partner around the 'act'. I had to learn that when I was still dating. But I don't date any more. No one seems interested in the soft gentle and sensual parts of making love. Foreplay and exploration takes too much time for the fast-paced world around us. Such a shame. They don't know what they're missing!
