Tuberculosis (TB) is the world’s deadliest infectious disease and has affected our civilization for thousands of years. Almost 4,400 people die from TB disease every day.
A cohort of TB advocates, community members, and early career researchers from India, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, and Zimbabwe wrote an open letter calling world leaders to finance R&D for new TB vaccines.
1,188 individuals and organizations from 92 countries have signed on to the TB vaccine open letter demanding leaders to #InvestInTBVaxRnD! Now, we're working hard to deliver it to representatives engaged in the UN High-Level Meeting on TB in September. Spread the word and join the call!
