Always was one of my favorite songs from the Tony Hawk games. I'm 32 now and hearing this song definitely takes me back. Nothing will ever be like those games and their music. The guitar riff that starts at 0:13 is what really made me fall in love with this tune. The vocals are great. And the drums are on another level as well.

I remember the first time I put THPS4 on my PS2. The main menu (a virtual skatepark that felt alive, with the actual game engine and skaters rolling all over the place) received me with all of this song's glory. Man, I can't describe the sensation. After playing religiously TH 1, 2 and 3, starting a new game like this felt like a revolution in the series, visually, conceptually and musically. THPS4 will be forever one of my favorite and most beloved PS2 games ever.

I remember being a kid way back when (2002-2008) playing this game with my younger brothers and this song hits diff bc my mom died from dope last summer and me and my brothers are grown now. I’m a little drunk, smoking a blizzard and it hit me that I’m really getting older. I have a newborn now and I can only hope to make his childhood as happy and peaceful as mine
