This is a clip from a great musical called Guys and Dolls (1955).
I do not own the content of this video and all credit should be provided to the original producers - The Samuel Goldwyn Company.

As a kid having seen this movie while also hearing the existence of a musical called "Cats", I used to say that this scene was Adelaide performing a song from "Cats" LOL

Composer-lyricist Frank Loesser wrote this number for the movie, where I believe it replaced "A Bushel and a Peck." As Vivian Blaine played Miss Adelaide both on Broadway and in the film, she got to sing both songs.

Note how they are JUMPING in super high stiletto heels. Pretty amazing.

Always love it when they cast the stage performers in the movie version of the stage productions of famous musicals.

We did guys and dolls in my 6th grade play and I was in it. We did this scene but the choir instructor wanted us to wear these skimpy outfits and we all told our parents what she was requiring .. she literally yelled at us the next day SOOO angry and upset. I just couldn't understand how she didn't understand as 6th graders we were completely uncomfortable. Like girl what??? I loved the play still a great experience. But like girl wtf. We ended up just wearing flapper dresses. But at 25 years old. I STILL don't understand how she thought this was ok ?

It's a cute song, and it was good that they got Frank Loesser to write it, but I think it was a big mistake to remove an iconic song like "A Bushel and a Peck." Even people not familiar with the musical have heard that song. It would be like replacing "Ol Man River" from "Show Boat."
