Story of him taking his jersey off and losing the game because of the technicals is a great one. Changed his entire demeanor and made him even more dangerous.

How can you hate this guy? He has all the reasons to leave but he doesn't. Never complained about the team around him, so humbl and ultimately, very loyal.

Imo his shot against okc is the most cold blooded shot of all time

Love how after a few days this video came out, he scored his career high 71.

If anything, Dame deserve to win a chip on the Blazers. Despite noises around the league that he should leave Portland and join a superteam, he's just too loyal to do so and told that even the Blazers traded him there wont be any hard feelings. He doesn't forget where he came from and grateful on where he is now.

To think Lillard and Giannis teaming up this season - two very loveable players; each the master of their craft; and probably the hardest working players in the league right now, in the same team.

My man Dame deserves more credit. He's been living in Steph's shadow for all of his career, and he never had a team that could help him win anything. Yet still he is loyal and although he may retire ringless, he will be my all time favorite guy

So humble... Dame deserves love. Even if he doesn't win a chip, his loyalty and strong game should be celebrated.

The way dame talks about his current team as well as his college (weber st) makes me like him even more. You can just tell he's humble af.

Dame is quite literally part of the reason I love the blazers. I know --obviously-- but just the way he talks off the court and never falls short of a genuine answer in interviews is something that you really don't see in other stars. I can't imagine growing up watching someone like Paul George or Kyrie Irving who constantly leave and quite literally lie to the press about how they "plan to stay" on their teams when they end up leaving. Dame, on the other hand, never ends up in drama, and always has the right thing to say. Truly a selfless and honest, down-to-earth guy who strives only to be the best person he can be. I just don't know how you could dislike Dame (except when he is destroying your team, of course).

Dame is easily my favorite player. I've only seen him play in person once but I plan on going to more in the future.

In an era dominated by prima donnas and Ball hogs, dame has been that guy. Hope he can get some support and win a ring before he retires. Nothing but respect for a cold blooded machine

Dame went to a college that I am only 10 miles away from. My mom told me stories of Dame. He sounded amazing. Dame is my favorite player to not win a ring currently in the NBA

a lot of clueless people tend to discredit the greatness of a player just because they never won championship..
dame and chuck are in that conversation..
ive always admired his play...

I grew up 40 minutes south of Weber State and I went to the Weber state basketball summer camp from 8-15 and one year dame was my teams coach because the players were put in charge of the kids. Great guy I never knew how good he was until I was older
