I have retired and receive a full state pension. I need though to generate the equivalent again to live more comfortably as I have no additional pension income. So, I was wondering how to tackle this as I have just set up a LTD company and believe that I can work around much of this with the 8.5% tax rule on dividends which can then apply to my whole income?

I have set my director’s salary to 12570 in QB Standard payroll but on my monthly payslip NI deduction is 0.00. Why should that be?
