Liked the show. It's about real journalism with an actual strong female lead without demeaning the males or making her a mary sue.
I had forgotten about Hilary Swank, she is incredibly believable as the character she is playing. I am looking forward to this series.

Hoovers that they cancelled the show. I watched and liked the show very much. Great actors and acting. Important story. One of the few shows I looked for each week.
I felt the same about Amazon's "Three Pines" based on Louise Penny's books. Crying shame the only two new shows worth watching were cancelled.

This show was actually really good. I think the timing of it coming out and the time is showed on tv had a lot to do with why it was canceled. They should bring the show back for another season but with stronger writers and a solid time slot on a major network.

There's also a slowly developing thread throughout the episodes about missing and murdered indigenous women.
Why not? I've just finished Three Pines. I didn't know it was a trend. But I liked it.
