What Have I Gotten Myself Into ? | My First REAL Backpacking Trip | TRT 2013

I've been playing around with the idea of doing a series of podcast style videos here on the channel. The idea formed around taking a deep dive in to past hiking and backpacking trips, and starting a discussion around the physical AND emotional affects hiking, backpacking, and the outdoors can have on us. I may expand that idea in the future, and further open the scope of topics if the series gains traction.

For the first episode I thought it only made sense to talk about the backpacking trip that started it all. My first multi day backpacking trip; my Tahoe Rim Trail attempt in 2013.

It was the first major trip I'd ever planned, and it came with a massive learning curve.
