This video gives an overview of the 1.8" color LCD, where to purchase and how to wire it to your Arduino. A detailed description of the pin outs are included for both the "fast" and "slow" wiring method. Also, I compare the write speed for both methods which demonstrates the performance of each.

This is the best guide I could find. The explained pinout you put in your video is what helped the most. Many thanks for the work you did on this!!

I'm very saddened not to find the second half of this tutorial! I really love your video but I need some documentation for scripting to at least get something on the screen other than white. I somehow find your documentation more fulfilling than the tutorials on Ada (Possibly because I'm more of a visual learner). Please, please make the second video. Thanks for the video on hooking up this specific LCD screen, I can't describe how much it helped.

Martin -
Slow - Slower screen updates as shown in the video but uses less pins on the Arduino.
Fast - Faster updates to the screen but uses more pins.

Kevin - I haven't measured the amp draw from my display so I can't answer.  You may check adafruit or one of the other resellers to see what they publish.  If you need I can measure mine.

What kind of power does this unit draw?

I wonder if it's possible to hook up 4 LCD/TFT's to an Arduino UNO. Or do you think i need another Arduino with enough input/output signals? thx for your reply
