This is a quality Sci-Fi movie and is a minor classic of the genre.  Well done, Alex Garland.

I saw this a few months ago and to find out now that it flopped is just.. ? Such a good movie, it's rare for me to like these types of sci-fi films but this one was damn fine. But then, anything Alex Garland writes tends to turn out very well.

It didn't make money because most people just decides not to give it a try just because now days people just assume or judge without even watching the movies. This movie is 99% closer to the comics and that's the best! The 1995 version is just crap!

The budget was too high. They should of just went for a low budget win. We could of had 2 sequels by now!
