Thanks for taking the time to produce the video. Saves us all the time to investigate such things 😀

Maybe better suited to table saw mitre gauge/sled fence? With the scales on the back and rough flip bit!

Back again. I wanted 4 flip stops and didn't want to pay $80 plus so, being a woodworker, I built two left and two right handed (they'll work in either orientation) for just the cost of the bolts and plastic handles. I could have made the knobs, too, and have in the past but the project along with three hold downs had already taken too many evenings with finishing. I like stacked baltic birch ply and 5/16" hardware for my jigs and fixtures. The project involved grinding the heads on carriage bolts and cutting them to length. These are good ones and perfectly fit my machines, benches, and fences. I'm often surprised at the stuff woodworkers buy that they could as well have made.

I was wondering about these. Thanks for ruling them out for me. Looks like it’ll be a pair of if Incra flip shop stops and tracks nice I’ve sold a kidney to pay for them 😅

If you were to operate it from the other side, like a cross cut sled for example, the scale and pointer would be on the right way. Probably designed for that use rather than as a mitre station fence. Thanks for showing us though, I've looked at those a number of times.

Wow, I was beginning to think Festool had moved Cornwell to the worlds end (where a lot of us would love to live) Well great review.

The Woodpeckers DP-PRO FLIP STOPs are pricey but seem to work really well … you need to provide your own t-track and rule, but the beauty of that is you can use a regular t-slot fence and put the ruler wherever you like, and the arms flip pretty far back … I use them on the drill press and the router table … might be worth a look? also Rockler has more affordable flip stops and track … just thoughts … good luck with the Rutland flips!

Thanks for the detailed video! Occasionally one of these cheap tools is a grand slam... other times a total miss... maybe this is a single, or double 😄

So ... rutlands just rebadges the exact same hardware you can find on banggood, and they charge 4 or 5x the cost for them. Got it.
