The more I listen to growing pains, the more I fall in love with this beautiful poetic song. It’s such a great song, and the lyrics are so poetic. But it wasn’t until yesterday when I read the through lyrics that I really gained an appreciation for how much thought and effort must have gone into writing this song. Gosh Sammy, you are amazing. Listening to this has made me really reflect on my own childhood. Memories I have not visited in years are triggered by these beautifully sung lyrics. Listening to this makes me wish, so much, my father were still with us so I could dedicate this song to him. I wish I could have found these words when he was living. Thank you for this piece of heaven Sammy!
