Daniel, have you used a busted deck of cards? Because I have many decks, that have been used severely. I'm from Ukraine, and because exchange rate is high and also many places that buy USPC get their own tax, that's why I use my Bicycle decks heavily.

I learned to spring them from the opposite side. Foward off the fingers not back off the thumb. Now I will have to practice till I grasp this new way

The only cards I had on hand were my fleer 1986 rookie set (inlcuding Michael Jordan). This technique worked perfectly!
