How to create Power BI In-Page Navigation with Bookmarks and Buttons

In this video, I am sharing a data visualization technique In Power BI to build a user-friendly experience to navigate within a report page using buttons and bookmarks.

When building reports in Power BI, it's important to keep the layout simple and to show only the relevant visuals to avoid misinterpretation of information. Providing an option with tabs to navigate to visuals gives great flexibility and a web app feel to the report experience.

An important advantage of this method is that the report performance is faster as visuals do not generate queries when they are hidden.

I will take you through the complete steps from scratch and show you how to build an In-Page Navigation.

Thanks! I really appreciatte your contribution. I would like state that in the 2022 version it is very important to set ON the option "Format Button/Button/Style/Text" in order to write inactive buttons' names and keep "Format Button/Button/General/Title" option set off. Otherwise is not possible to Ctrl+Click inactive buttons. Bookmarks seems not to work properly but the issue is in inactive buttons.
