ELRS would probably take the win by a couple of hairs in my book, but they would have to do something pretty significant to draw me away from Crossfire. I never really even see the boundaries of my range and penetration. Several floors up in parking garages, behind brick buildings, deep in forests, several miles through the sky, all while being affordable, reliable, and extremely user-friendly. Now they are even finally merging their receivers into 5in1's. Crossfire for life.

I'm new in FPV world, I was using only DJI RC until recently. I went for ELRS and I don't think its complex at all. It was pretty straight forward for me

I have both ELRS and Crossfire. As ELRS can sometimes be a pain in the Ass, iv just kept with Crossfire. Crossfire just works solid period!

I just switched 6 drones with crossifre to ELRS and it's the best I could do. I seem like my drones are much smoother.

great state of affairs synthesis. Totally agree.
Crossfire... easier.. more money..
ELRS cheaper...more tinkerish....
I'm 2:1 Crossfire to ELRS. Tango2 for Crossfire.. Boxer for ELRS.
bringing 3 crossfire and 2 elrs to rampage...

Elrs is actually very easy. Way easier for a beginner to grasp then something like betaflight out of the gate

Not sure how it is elsewhere but in Australia crossfire receivers are more than double the price of Radiomaster or Happymodel ELRS receivers

I’m flying tracer since release and I did never regret it..
Not a single Failsafe and also decent range (did a little over 1, 2 km).

But everyone has different needs, so just saying.

Last generation protocols like Frsky D16 can be relevant because of Gear akquisition syndrome of so many people you get D16 transmitters used for really cheap!

I still fly D8 & D16 with my jumper T-lite 😂😂. It’s easy, cheap and more time having fun flying lol… My next stop will be CRossfire or elrs for sure.

I'd like to know why so many people that swore by Crossfire are switching from the 915mhz to the 2.4ghz systems? I guess with high end racing pilots maybe it has something to do with latency, but my understanding was the big advantage to 915mhz was penetration and distance reliability. An important factor given how expensive these quads are these days. It's not hard at all to have $1000, or close to it, in the air and the only thing between you keeping or losing your investment is the control link.

Great video. It was informative. You should make more. Tip: if we can hear you swallow, the mic is too close.

I trusted crossfire moved all of my models to crossfire system my fixed wing aircraft also, its performed really well in my 5 inch quad but in my nitro plane i used crossfire as pwm rx via adaptor, on the very first flight my rc link got broken and i managed to save my airplane at the very last moment before hitting the ground just because i regained the rc link .

From that day i never flew plane on crossfire i dont know why it happened but it shattered my trust in crossfire i recently bought radio master ranger mocro and er6 rx

Having to login to TBS Agent software for managing / flashing your TX/RX? No thank you. Just switched to ELRS and selling all my crossfire stuff.

If it has a vista or is DJI you could use the DJI controller.

ELRS is the newest and best. TBS CF is the most proven and reliable.

Would elrs work on radiolink since it can run crossfire protocol and external module?
