I’m a 63 year old Christian woman, that’s a Democrat in a Red state, that just happens to be gay as well. I have worked in an industry that is mostly men, in a Management position. I feel that Kamala Harris represents ME! Glass ceilings mean nothing to me. Hard work and honesty DOES! I was very very emotional, more so now than when Barrack Obama won. I’m very proud to say, Kamala was the first candidate that I had ever donated to a campaign! I am so hopeful and I felt the joy walking out of the voting booth. I was voting for MY freedom, MY NIECES, MY SISTERS and for OUR DEMOCRACY! I can look into the eyes of my nieces and every other woman I see, and know I voted for them and the generations to come! We must never forget the journey we have made, breaking down barriers of racism, bigotry and hate. We still have more work to be done, but I am so PROUD to have supported the BEST Person for the job, that just happens to be a WOMAN!!! LETS GOOOO!!💙🇺🇸💙🇺🇸

I am 21 years old and just voted in my first ever election. My mom has been trying to warn my sister and I for a few years now about the dangers of Trump. I didn’t necessarily believe it until I started doing my own research over the summer. Fast forward to today, I am a registered democrat and I voted with my mother in my first ever election.
