Not bad. Bet you learned quite bit. For those comments on the fit just be aware that those flare pants from the 70’s were very fitted from hip to just above the knee. About mid calf is where the flare starts. Flares also were usually worn with a bit longer inseam, hitting the top of your shoes or if you wore platforms a bit longer. Keep sewing and enjoy the journey. I grew up in the 70’sand love that all these trends are making a comeback.

So my pointers here would be first off if you’re gonna add an extension contact your base pants just split the seam. Second, you should flip your jeans inside out before you pin your extra fabric so you can get a clean seam. Third, I would’ve personally made the extra fabric a lot taller. You can achieve a much sleeker look with a more gradual transition from point to base. As is very rough but keep learning and trying.

Naw the cut was not well, flared jeans have to have a slimmer top, not that they have to be skinny, but they have to form properly, these jeans now have no stance. But you are on the right track at the bottom.

im not an expert so i might be wrong but i think you should have cut a strait line instead of that triangle because it would have flared it more

edit: man i watched it a few more times and that was actually kinda horrible, you can literally ses the part it is the opposite of seamless if yk what i mean
