I didn't know the upper part of the vagina was estrogen dependent! I use testosterone (and DHEA suppositories) but the pain I feel with intercourse is farther up, which explains why it doesn't work for that part of my vagina! My doctor won't prescribe estradiol cream for me since I use oral estradiol, but as I age, it doesn't work on stopping the pain in my upper vagina. So frustrating.

Vitamin E vaginally for atrophy works just as well as estrogen, but buy a complete E, not made from soy.
