Join me in this course where I will teach you all you need to know about Jira advanced roadmaps.

This is a Jira Premium only feature and I will teach you what you need to know to get started with Jira Advanced Roadmaps. I'll show you how to create an advanced roadmap. How to add sources to your roadmaps and then talk you through some of the configurations that you should be aware of. I'll also walk you through the navigation so that you can get comfortable with using the Advanced Roadmaps capability with Jira Premium.

Just watched it and already recommended to everyone in my company. We have JAR and nobody really knows how to use it. Thank you so much for such a nice clear explanation. I literally said WOW out loud few times!

Thanks for posting this. I'm only 13 minutes in but I wanted to mention that I appreciate i) your comment that orgs with both waterfall / agile methodologies will appreciate ARs, ii) presentation of Roadmaps (now Timeline?) before going to Advanced. As for audio, I have to set my headset and computer to max volume to hear you well enough.

Hi Alex! In one of your Advanced Roadmap video's, I thought you mentioned possibly doing a comparison of BigPicture and Advanced Roadmaps. Is that video out there somewhere? I searched, but could not find it. I'm looking for a high level overview / visualization of the main differences between the 2 Jira Add-Ons. :) Thank you for your video's - they are so easy to follow and learn from! Much

Your videos and channel are awesome! Thank you. I am helping my team navigate a premium trial and this is a huge help. Because Atlassian's documentation is alright but stepping through the process and warning of the pinch points is 10x a better way to guide someone.

You mentioned that story points only work in scrum. Whats the solution for visualizing any given tasks value and points toward completion on a Kanban board without making a separate scrum board? What we have currently is that there can be half the tasks in an epic completed yet 80% of the work is completed and we have no way to visualize the value of what was completed.

Great video Alex thank you so much for all of your effort on these videos! Is it not possible to have the sprints show up in the right time window that allows you to set the start and end date of the sprints and then reflect that in the time area or is the time area only driven by start date and due date?

This is really great! I was able to pull some excellent nuggets out for our team and how we use Jira.

I do have an odd question - we use Jira for more traditional PMing (no story points); the idea is to use Plan to share the project progress with our Clients so we're not doing rework by creating a project timeline elsewhere....is there a way to exclude any task with or without a specific component? We don't want to show the Client's everything, but specific issues and their progress.

Or is there potentially another method of categorizing and singling out Issues within Plan to display?
