A group of tourists are trapped in the underwater aquarium at SeaWorld when the deadly Great White crashes into the glass.

Pay attention to the tour guide - when everyone sees the shark and panics, rather than try and stop the crowd from running - and possibly getting trampled - she's running along with them. It's after the doors have sealed and they can't go anywhere that she works to get the crowd calmed down. I thought that was a nice touch for the movie.

The most unrealistic thing here is the guests listening to the tour guide. If this were real life, that poor girl would be torn apart by hysterical guests before the shark even gets a chance to sink her teeth on her.

What I like is that the dead guy was down there since the shark got him at the start of the movie. No one noticed that he was missing? No one thought to cheek the areas around the Aquarium to make sure nothing was wrong? It was killing me throughout the whole movie that no one noticed he had died or had even found the body!

I still remeber seeing it for the first time in the mid 80's as a 10 year old when this movie was shown on HBO or that "ON Television, " that early version of cable and not knowing whether to be scared or laugh.

They shot this at a water theme park in Florida that I went to once. Its insane. Its exactly like it is in the movies. Long glass tunnels underwater, underwater restaurant. So neat

Spielberg saw this. You know he did. He waited until everybody went to bed and put it on. And saw....this. 3:17 saying that however, Calvin realizing that his dream has backfired is very similar to John Hammond's realization in the first JP.
