I hope you liked my red light therapy price video. As you can see, many people merely assume that these panels are overpriced and it's a comment I've been getting for years now. As you can see, after I calculate all the costs, it's not as easy as you think to start a profitable red light therapy company. Leave a comment below if you've got any questions!

I purchased a 300 bulb dual led 4 wavelength panel from aliexpress $420 US shipped to my door, very happy with it. Thank you for all that you do to bring awareness about RLT.

Thanks Alex for invaluable assistance to us consumers trying to navigate this confusing data set, fast evolving realm of RLT/NIR & here having a go at this subject, starting this conversation around start-up.
It's obvious you put a lot of time & effort into a prolific number of videos, you're upfront about your conflict of interest & you deserve the commission you earn, especially with the generous discounts consumers get from using your codes. Cheers

Thanks Alex, I got my shipping confirmation on my BlockBlueLight Mega yesterday. Guess what, its shipping direct from China. So much for a where house in the US.

We'd like to see some of the Amazon $25-$50 panels and flood lights tested or do you only do content for affiliation?

Great video- here is my experience of the process having worked as a design engineer in Australia for some major companies- we would design our products (not in the Light or red light therapy space) and the company would do a lot of research and development to get the optimum design - then we would protect our ideas with patents and IP. Engineers would work with industrial designers to produce a well engineered and designed product with great usability and ergonomics- then the product or components such as mouldings would be made in china and the product would be either assembled locally in Australia or entirely in china - it would depend on costs and manufacturing
volumes - so the final selling cost must include the overhead of employing 100s of engineers and designers, marketing, HR quality control warehousing offices etc

for these RLT devices I suspect the well known companies may do some R&D themselves but possibly most would go to trade shows in say shenzen and ask some Chinese companies to make their panels either to their spec or just buy off the shelf and brand as the say Aussie company- it would be interesting what IP there is in this space and if I saw “ using our Aussie red patented algorithm or design “ I would be more interested - but these are probably a commodity item - they do seem expensive though - quality control is important so do they do 100% test or statistical batch testing ? But great channel and in the end RLT seems to be a gage changing therapy I want to use

Hi Alex, I recently purchased a Bestqool panel, it makes a cracking sound every time I turn on and off the panel for a couple of minutes, it seems to be the metal enclosure because of the temperature changes, is that normal? Please tell me if I should return the panel for this, otherwise the leds are working properly. Thank you!

This has always been the case with products made in China, the difference now with internet and social media is that it’s easier to cut out the middle man albeit with some risks. The Chinese factories are getting smarter. They make the stuff so they may as well sell them too, even if they didn’t design them in the first place. It’s only a matter of time till they start providing better sales and marketing, establishing local branches etc and the middle man will be cut out for good

I never heard of all these added cost you are adding. This video is way off and your making it look like buying from these manufacture closer to Retail cost when it's not. Price per unit and shipping cost is all you pay (some times import tax but they usual or can request as sample or lower listed cost)!!! In reality buying from a Manufacture, is around 65% off what you pay on all these Red light Retail sites. I know you want people to buy from them so you can also get your cut but please be honest and the reality that it's way cheaper if you go the manufacture route.
