It might be important to note that "Totsiens" is not "Good bye" directly translated but rather "Till seeing" shortened from "Tot weder siens" IE "Till (I) see (you) again". I always find it better to know the actual translation rather than just parroting meanings.

ek is nie 'n Afrikaans spreker nie. Maar ek het die taal elke dag geleer. my onderwyser Meneer H. het my gehelp as ek 'n probeelm he.
I know my Afrikaans is not that great but as someone who is not South African or European for that matter I have a great passion for it just like I have for my English and French.

My colleagues visiting South Africa have found vids such as yours of great value when heading over there.
They have however expressed a desire to be discretely coached in the use of the more vernacular words - ie. swear words. Not only because they need them very soon after arriving but also because, as English speakers, they're not sure which ones are appreciated and which ones are abominable.
