I’m an old school fan, but even I liked Logan Paul videoing the Frog Splash through the announce table. It was different and unique. You don’t see everyone doing it and I feel like it fit his character. Coming from a guy that hated him signing, he wound up impressing me with his matches especially Crown Jewel because he took Reigns to the limit. I’m kinda surprised Freddie Prinze Jr isn’t a bit more progressive with his thinking. Especially after everything he saw during his time in WWE.

I kinda get what he's saying but I'm glad he's self-aware about his "old-school" mentality because I do think there's solid entertainment value to what Logan did with that selfie/video gimmick.

That is what wrestling is a lot of the time, well-thought out, themed gimmicks delivered in a way that's entertaining, mildly believable and is in the form of a badass stunt; I think Logan pulled that off perfectly, it reflects his internet personality, it was unique and pretty thoughtful in terms of playing up his character.

Straight guys are fascinating, I have no clue what they're talking about. I had a friend as a child who was wrestling obsessed, that was when I mastered the art of nodding and agreeing with everything to give it the illusion I knew what they were going on about. They watched it for the wrestling, I tagged along to watch beefy men in speedos. Thank you The Rock, because what was actually cooking was my future of being full blown gay.

I disagree with Freddie Prinze Jr. but respect his opinion. I feel like wrestling needs youth and that youth is always cockier. Logan Paul doing that during a championship match is something someone his age and younger would do. It fits the generation he is appealing to. They just tik tok everything and anything. Every moment is a moment to go viral. Grayson Waller does similar things with his persona on NXT. I think that has legs and will find people who will be interested enough to give wrestling a chance or at least be a gateway into them checking out more clips.
