The critics loved it and the fans loved it. But no one went to see it. I absolutely loved this film ; I saw it twice in the theater and bought the blu ray. It really upsets me that this wasn't more of a box office success.

This movie deserves more attention. It's amazing. It's a shame that they predicted 500 million for this movie in the box office but it only made 17 million in the box office. Karl urban did an AMAZING job in this, the way he got lost in the character just bought me. I say this movie deserves a sequel.

It was one of the best movies ever done to this day, I cannot understand how this didn't go bigger afterwards, we need Dredd 2!!!

The character Anderson was crucial because Dredd is like the doomguy who wears a helmet and is violent. Anderson, we can relate to and her transformation as the movie progresses is defnitely one of the best elements in the movie. Throughout the movie we see 3 times Dredd asks Anderson if she is ready and her responses: Uncertain-->Nervous-->Ready!

these two captured how I imagined the characters in my own mind. Good choice of storyline, too. No distractions trying to squeeze in multiple other major stories.
We need a sequel.
And fast!
And a separate film just on Anderson. There’s a whole back catalogue just for her.

It breaks my heart to hear Karl talk about handing the film off to the audience and if they had as much fun viewing it as they did making it then they would love to make more. It has a cult following, and it's doing well on home video but still I don't know if the producers will bite after such a low box office draw.
