PBC International Jungle Trio - “The Lion Sleeps Tonight”

Notice the pitch difference compared to the one I have now!
Sadly, the constant overplaying caught up with it after awhile and the monkey stopped moving, then the hippo, and eventually the whole thing gave out and stopped working. I remember crying about it and wanting a new one, but we couldn’t find any for sale anywhere lol. Even after it was gone, I carried around a picture I drew of it for awhile, but I would never see another one again until September 20th, 2021 when I finally got this one off Facebook Marketplace for $10. They came fully working besides the monkey, which just needed a new belt in the mech, and I am so happy to have these guys back in my collection. It would be cool if I still owned my original set, but having new ones is half as good.

Very nice story and awesome you have these guys back again. I also saw that video you linked in the description before. Can’t wait to hear the stories about those items if you have regained any of them or are going to regain any of them. I think you told me the story about that hippo in the tiara before standing next to the hug n luv pirate bear in one of those clips, but the video got deleted or privated or something. It was a very interesting story from what I hardly remember to say the least.
