Thank you for this tutorial, it answers a lot of questions.
However, for the polynomial regression (order 5 for example), can we have the determination coefficient (r**2) between the measurements (y) and those of the developed model (ymodel).
Or maybe there are other comparison parameters between y and ymodel.

Nice job, I am trying to fit a data collection to different statistic distributions (Normal, exponential, etc..) to see which one the match the best. Is this something you have done?
