Yeh, the trauma dumping. My daughter had a friend/guy friend. He was like talking to her like she's a therapist or something. In high school, he had sooo many problems. I finally said to her one day, your in high school; he's always just one "drama" after another. His parents need to handle some of this stuff not you. Lighten up. And this is me, her MOM saying this. So when after graduation SHE was the one having the problems. Guess what, now he won't respond to her. After she spent 4 years in high school listening to all his STUFF. So bring a POSITIVE guy in your can add to your energy. Does the guy have skills, can he help you with something. Your car has a problem? Make him useful. Do you need a piece of furniture moved? A restaurant you've been just waiting to try? Than be appreciative of him helping you.
