Marty Robbins had a way to make a simple Song into a magical dream to escape the drudgery of working on the lonely range.. I was never a cowboy, But I worked the oil rigs in Wyoming in the 80's and would listen to Marty Robbins often... I am old now, but remember those days well. Hard work...cold days in Winter, Hot and dry in the Summer- that is Wyoming... where the snow blows sideways!
