Herb has a very underrated sense of humor. He knows he has to lead while being completely authentic. He’s done a good job of just always being himself. His teammates obviously respect him as an ultimate leader, because he’s not phony. As a Duck and Bolt fan from Eugene who grew up idolizing Dan Fouts and company it’s pretty sweet to see him come into his own in the NFL and finally finally have a competent coaching staff.

Two Weeks in a row TULI hasn’t gotten a game ball for his outstanding contribution to the 3 game win streak. He’s contributed 5.5 Sacks since having recorded no sacks since going against the Saints. I’m a big changers fan and just continuing to acknowledge our young rising star TULI Tuipulotu who is very humble and won’t talk about his game but continues to show out during game day. As a little boy in the 70s (yes I'm that old) I saw an nfl hilite film on our 14 station floor model tv of lance alworth and I was hooked.
I've suffered through 50 years of awful teams, coaches, management and ownership.
Other than the early Coryel years and Marty's time with us it's been shit.
What coach Jim has brought in such a short time is miraculous, I've never seen anything like it.
Just look at the confidence and love of the game and team in that locker room, totally special.
I believe we're an off-season away from being really dominant but don't sleep on us this year either.
