Mom's invention stops catheter pain

Sarah Olson would be the first to tell you that she is no medical engineer, but when her 3-year-old son Levi’s
catheter was causing him to scream in pain, she started to search the web for an answer.

I’m a 28 year old woman and have a suprapubic catheter. The pain is unbelievable. If I could cry like this little boy I would. I tell the doctors but it’s like banging your head off a brick wall. My catheter ruins my life.

That’s amazing. Those catheters really are uncomfortable and hurt to urinate if you have to have one for like 5 -7 days, but all the time, omg 😫😫😫. I’d really love to see the finished product and how it actually helps to relieve pain.

Medical people don't seem to care if an old person is in everyday agony. I hope her invention works. I have uncontrolled pain going on 4 weeks. Next appt 3 more weeks. The anti opiod nutobs are making old people just suffer

Sometimes, it's the person that thinks OUTSIDE the box that sees the solution to a problem. Do not ever forget, Doctors " practice " medicine, it does not mean they know everything.

Is weird but I suddenly typed in catheter and this shows up. This poor baby boy. This should be illegal no one should have a catheter done.

Oh yeah you know what! My mom accusing me talking to the nurse putting me inside the catheter into my bladder at Stanford children's hospital. I was so extremely scared and screaming in pain that sh*t hell out of me! Believe me people! Come on! I hate it and worst day of my life from a long time ago.

I had one of these in 20 and I didn’t feel anything going on or out n ima boy didn’t even know I had it till the nurse told me to pee when I was in bed 😂 I was like where she said u have a catheter in
