In the comic, venom's feet were like boots. I think the close toe feet are an attempt to replicate that design.

The feet without toes is the only reason I'm getting this one, Venom didn't get toes until recently and I have zero interest in a modern Venom.

Game sucked imo, this is the way to go. Game Venom is also way too big for Venom.
