Cherry Dump Cake | Cherry Crisp with Michael's Home Cooking

This is a three ingredient dessert made with Cherry Pie Filling, a cake mix and melted butter. Easy to put together at the last minute.
Ingredients:
2 cans Cherry Pie Filling (21 ounces each)
1 Cake Mix (around 15 ounces)
1 stick of butter melted (4 ounces)

Bake @ 350F for 30 to 33 minutes.

This is nice to put into your oven just before serving your dinner.
Allow to bake while eating, then serve for dessert with ice cream for a hot/cold dessert.

Made this last night with a slight change. I put chopped walnuts in top of the cherry pie filling before placing the butter/cake mix for the final layer. Added some extra crunch when baked. I went with 350F for 33 minutes with best results. Topping didn't seem browned enough at 30 minutes. Thanks for the great and east recipe!!!

I love this; simple and you get to taste the star, the fruit. Another simple dessert I love are Clafoutis. I like cherry or especially blueberry. Lots of great recipies on YouTube. The blueberry one I have made is Food Wishes. Super simple. Be well!

I do love a good dump cake!
Just saw this recipe on a family vlog the other day and am giving it a try this week. Pumpkin Muffins- one boxed spice cake mix and a can of pumpkin pie filling. That is all. They said a 425 degree oven for 10 minutes but I'm going to keep a close eye on that for this first time. LOVE me some pumpkin everything even though I would choose sweet potato pie over pumpkin pie every time. lol
