Dimosari Waterfalls (Nidri), Lefkada Greece

The Dimosari Gorge Waterfalls are one of the most stunning natural attractions on the Greek island of Lefkada. Just 3,5 kilometres west of Nidri town, a wonder of nature has formed over the years. In the hottest and driest summer months, especially in August, the stream's volume significantly decreases, but many tourists come to swim in the cold water. Even on the hottest day, temperatures here rarely climb above what is considered excellent. Dimosari waterfall is 12 meters high, surrounded by large rocks and cliffs. The gorge of Dimosari has exceptional natural beauty with beautiful sceneries, pools, and a waterfall. It is a great place to be in touch with nature. The best time to visit the waterfalls is in the morning or late afternoon.
