How to flatten curly polymer cash

Ever since the UK introduced plastic notes I've had issues with it pinging all over the place because it just won't stay flat after it's been folded or creased. Well after many attempts using many different methods I finally found a way to flatten it so I can count it without any problems.

I find if they get slightly damp they can stick together so just be careful you don't spend £40 on an item that you thought you were spending £20 on

This is better than what I was doing. I had a glass rectangular storage container which I would place the bills under sitting on the counter and fill the container with boiling water. Although my method works, your method does more bills faster. Thanks from Canada!

That’s a good hack, but you’re counting it wrong. Never count notes individually by putting them aside. Stack them together with a rubber band and count with your fingers like moneylenders and tellers do. It’s got a bit of a knack that takes getting used to.
