Guys, Don't forget to SMASH that LIKE button and share this video to your friends and family. BTW Which Android UI do you prefer?
CORRECTION : Oxygen OS 12.1 supports third party icon packs. I apologized for the mistake.

Last Samsung I used was S5 with Touchwiz. Then went Xiaomi for the past 5 years, MIUI 9, 10, 11, 12, 12.5, 13 tried them all but now Im back to Samsung with One UI 4.1 and it is waaaay better. Animation is more stable, more fluid. What annoys me a lot in MIUi is their inconsistent and stuttery animation specially when they jumped to MIUI 12 with their new animation engine. And their Global MIUI is lacking compared to what they offer in China. Hardware, xiaomi provides value but overall better user Experience, I'd steer towards Samsung.

One UI just crashes the competition even without GoodLock.

i have used both Xiaomi and Samsung devices with their latest software and I can easily say that One UI is better experience, it's way more polished, stable and it looks nice and modern. Xiaomi have to improve their MIUI, I certainly understand that you can accept MIUI quirks and unpolished looks and feel on an inexpensive device, but when you buy the most expensive smartphone from Xiaomi and get obviously worse experience than on Samsung, OnePlus or Oppo this is very unpleasant.

You didn't mention the fact that you can change the notification control center style in miui
Thumbs down!

You didn't mention the fact that you can also change the layout of recent apps in miui
Thumbs down!

3:56 what? No. You can't definitely change the icons on Xiaomi on it's application easily known as Themes. In there you can change lock screen, icons, even system, start up animation and sound... You can customize a lot on Xiaomi.

The stock UI and One UI are the best in UI. Oxygen OS used to be excellent but with the Color OS merge it has become okaish. MIUI is very complicated with the settings hidden and ads and bloatware. Please heart this 😅

I've got Redmi note 9 MIUI 12.5 & Poco X3 pro MIUI 13, personally MIUI 13 has been great for me so far, super customizable and love features that come with it. I've got a Samsung tablet with one UI (one UI is overrated in a lot of ways, I will not explain why) but too many people think one UI is godly when it is not.

Excellent video, but you do need some background information. Miui 13 on android 12 does offer the dynamic colour change according to the wallpaper but only for the google apps, which is the same as the Oxygen OS. Miui also offers icon pack and font changes in the default launcher via the prebuilt themes app. Hope it helps. BTW, One UI is way ahead in terms of customisations, however these work better and fluently only in the flagship and upper mid range devices.

I dont understand why spend half the video talking about the always on display, then spend 20 seconds on the additional features then say you're unable to talk more about them... isn't the whole point of this video to see what you get with the different OS/UIs?

4:04 Wrong. You certainly do not need a custom launcher to change icon packs on Oxygen OS.... long press home screen -> icons -> any installed third party icon packs will appear on the right side of the 'custom' option (you need to scroll horizontally), not even smart lock pendant is required, it's right in the oneplus launcher
