The scariest part is probably seeing the yellow dot on the minimap move to you SO FAST

My problem with cave dweller is it needs to be slightly less aggressive and spawn less often

It’s so aggressive and frequent that it becomes less scary and more just annoying since it’s basically an immediate death sentence

And I think some mechanics where it stalks you around corners and quickly runs down halls past you, and stuff would make it a lot scarier

If anyone is curious. The sounds are taken from an enemy called “Akers/coral puppet” from the game Soma. (Made by the same people who made the Amnesia Series)

I was so confused on why you were running away so early until i looked on the mimap and saw the dot moving toward you rapidly, thats some horror movie type stuff

The speed of this mob seems very balanced, I like that it will outrun you, but it’s JUST slow enough that you might have a chance of being able to make an unlikely escape.

Seeing the yellow dot on the minimap bolting towards you is absolutely terrifying.

these sounds are terrifying but when you add the reimagened cave dweller it's gonna be worse than the man from the fog

This is possibly the scariest Minecraft clip I have ever seen. The fact that it kept chasing you and it would not give up, and that it moved that fast was so incredibly spine-chilling.

I don't think he's all that good of a mob, he's scary but you can't outrun him which mostly ruins it. He should be around the same speed as you jump running. When he's this quick you can only resort to cheesing him by blocking off a tunnel or putting water down. Something that was mostly fixed with the Warden so you couldn't cheese him at least.
