They should’ve asked “Who’s that Pokémon?” And had a sillhouette of Jigglypuff from above.

They avoided it not realizing how much of a gimme those questions were

I like how they basically had to baby them for the trainer and Evolution answers. Practically gave it to them.

Imagine 2000 was "how many EVs can be put into a single stat?"

Jeopardy on every other question: A Greeko-Roman philosopher was well known to have enjoyed eating lima beans while fishing for trout in this lake in Southeast Italy.

Jeopardy in the Pokémon category: Do you know what a Pokémon is?

Lol of course the players all left the Pokemon category for last.

Really easy clues though. Should have had one whole category of them guessing the names of Pokemon from pictures, would love to hear their responses (or lack of).

I like how the Pokemon questions were not only ridiculously easy, but were saved for last, suggesting that none of the contestants had any faith in their ability to answer the category at first

Damn, they didn’t even ask how much a STAB, strong jaw, rain boosted, adamant, max IV, max EV, choice band fishious rend from a Dracovish does to a max hp, max defense, impish, Dynamaxed Ferrothorn.

“Nobody actually knows enough about this ‘Pokémon’ thing so we’ll just give them the Macy’s parade, exact definitions of common words that just happen to be in the games, and information that can be discovered only after watching the first two seconds of the anime.”

I love how some Jeopardy questions are like "Who wrote this obscure novel from the 1400s (hint: he was related to Roberto Wettingham) and others are just "These two 'brothers' who are 'suoer' started in the 1987 nintendo game called 'super mario bros.'"

What they should've done:

**Shows picture of Jigglypuff**
Alex Trebek: "Jigglypuff"
**buzz**
WHO'S THAT POKÉMON?

Whenever they do these categories that are about newer, younger pop culture they always make the questions so easy. It’s kind of silly that they even include them cause it’s like having a category about Shakespeare and then asking questions so simple as, who is Romeo’s love interest?

they should have said “who’s that pokemon” and shown the silhouette of Voltorb or Elecrode

I was expecting something like, “Pikachu is the series mascot but this pink Pokémon was the originally going to be selected.” or Despite rumors, like ‘being found under a truck, ’ this mysterious Pokémon was originally left out of the first Pokémon game.” Not these easy ass questions
