South Korea has voted to impeach its acting president Han Duck-soo just two weeks after parliament voted to impeach its President Yoon Suk Yeol.

Prime minister Han took over the role after President Yoon was impeached by parliament following his failed attempt to impose martial law on 3 December.

Han was supposed to lead the country out of its political turmoil, but opposition MPs argued that he was refusing demands to complete Yoon's impeachment process.

I wasn't fully paying attention at first, so I just heard "impeached" and thought, "Why are they reportjng this now, wasn't that weeks ago ?". Then I realised they did it again and honestly, I'm kind of impressed.

This is the best title! It's like even whoever posted this video is confused about what's happening in Korea.

I've lived in Korea for over 20 and love this shit. The old joke, "I went to a fight and a National Assembly session broke out".

After the president's impeachment, the prime minister assumed the role of acting president, but there were suspicions that he might have been involved in the president's acts of insurrection. However, given the need to stabilize the chaotic country quickly, the National Assembly decided to cooperate with him for the time being.

Nevertheless, he betrayed those expectations by delaying the appointment of the constitutional judges who were to preside over the impeachment trial passed by the National Assembly, and he also refused to authorize the special investigation into the insurrection. As a result, suspicions grew that the prime minister was involved in the insurrection and was obstructing all efforts, leading, regrettably, to his impeachment as well, following the president’s.

However, the issue is that this is not the end. Following the prime minister's impeachment, there is not a single cabinet minister who can confidently declare themselves uninvolved in this insurrection. Furthermore, the president has yet to relinquish his ambitions, continuing to evade investigations and delay justice.

On behalf of the Republic of Korea's youth, I will explain the situation in Korea accurately here.

1. The opposition party impeached 23 ministerial-level officials while the current National Assembly is divided into government.

2. President Yoon Suk Yeol declared martial law to correct the opposition party's reckless and fraudulent election suspicions. (The only way to investigate the Central Election Commission was martial law, and the Central Election Commission did not cooperate in fraudulent elections at all before the declaration.)

3. The current opposition leader is someone who made illegal remittances to North Korea and is pursuing a pro-China policy. 4. As you can see in the current news, the president's declaration of martial law is falsely inciting that it is a rebellion. The opposition party used the sedition to impeach the president and acting president Han Deok-soo.

4. Now, Koreans realize the truth through false incitement by the opposition party and are posing as bodyguards in front of their official residence to protect the president.

5. President Yoon Suk Yeol is now declaring that he will fight to the end against anti-state forces.

The facts- the opposition held 2 voting sessions to take yoon down from his role as president just because they didn't like the outcome of the first vote-so that's not really democracy and true voices of the parliament being abided by is it?!!

Two of three judges the opposition party demands Mr. Han to appoint have serious problems. One was a former (and still!) "Marx-Leninist" activist who managed to infiltrate into S Korea's legal system through passing the national bar, unchecked of his loyalty to the nation. The other one is also a former student activist who also took advantage of the S Korea';s fair and only merit-based legal examination system. Seriously, the husband of the latter is a lawyer who works in a law firm run by a the chief accuser of Pres Yoon's impeachment. This certainly violates the conflict of interest and this is the reason why Acting President Mr. Han refuses to appoint these two. It is crystal clear that these two will be very biased as their track record of verdicts shows. Mr. Han is a fine man who is respected by many in the country. He was one of those brilliant economists who sacrificed his entire career to build S Korea's economy and also a professional diplomat who gave all to this country. It is extremely tearful to see that Mr. Han is humiliated by those that did nothing to or even plotted to destroy the country that gave full freedom and opportunity to them.
