Yeah a lot of techniques in martial arts become useless in an mma setting because now you have to actually be wary of everything. Its like how wrestlers can sometimes outstrike strikers because theyre afraid of the takedown and drop their guard.

Back in Brazil people were used to training jiu jitsu like that and god, I must tell you, It was hard to go for a leg
