Don't have to go far for sharks and rays. The Petaluma River is starting to fill up with them (lack of rain, no freshwater) I was snagging them two weeks ago trolling for stripers; had to stop because they were destroying the tackle. If you stopped at Port Sonoma on your way home from work you could probably start getting them off of the bank, and surely will be able to catch them at will by mid-June.
