I had a bracken sneak up behind me once, announce in my friend's voice "it's so fucking over, dude", and then snatched me and sent me to the backrooms. Hilarious but horrifying in the moment.

i’ll never forget the time i was watching the cameras on titan. i heard one of my friends behind me so i turned around and saw a ghost girl. i was panicking over the walkie trying to tell everyone to leave but then i realized, everyone had already died. a game hasn’t scared me that badly in awhile

There was this time of my friends had the skinwalker mod active and we were in a building where there was absolutely NOTHING, forcing us to go all the way inside the facility to get loot. I was venturing in the halls complaining how there was nothing when suddenly, a huge ass spider appeared in the middle of the way. I turned back and went out the building while screeching this very high pitched

With this, I had about enough, went outside and found out my friend had found small loot which I decided to take back to the ship. During all that time, I was wondering if he didn't die by the spider. A couple of minutes pass and finally, my friend came back with even more loot. The whole time, he thought I was dead because he also saw the spider, but when trying to escape from it, the bloody monster was literally screaming my over and over XD

Whenever we play with this mod, we intentionally say stuff like “Guys?” Or “Can anyone hear me?” To mess with each other.
It’s a lot harder to tell if it’s a recording when it’s vague, lmao.

Skinwalker can be surprisingly good. Once on Titan, I was lost while searching for the main entrance and then I said "There's a Bracken" on radio. I've heard one of my friend say "Yeah I saw him" close to me and when I checked, it was the Bracken itself who said that. Also for best experience, I've kept the mod active on Bracken & Mimics only to avoid dumb moments like that lizard at the end 😂

I forgot if the skinwalker mod only gives the voicelines to the creature that kills a person or not.

If it does, that makes the spore lizard passing by even funnier

My best skinwalker experience was sneaking back to the ship with dogs and giants outside, confirming with the other surviving crewmember that everyone else is dead, then hearing one of the dogs sing-songily say in my dead friend's voice "we all died to the bracken."

I've seen two clips to the point I start to believe this mod is smart on his own.
Once it was a coilhead that said "There is a red dot on the wall behind you" The person kept going backward and hit a landmine. Like the coilhead knew if he would turn around he would die to him or since he didn't he died to a mine. The coilhead literraly knew his fate.
The other clip is someone calling out for a friend, he heard "I'm behind you" and not even 1s later a Bracken broke his neck

But the last clip of this video, this is the best of all lmao

it's fun at first but after a while it becomes super obvious what's real. Imo makes the game easier cuz it reveals enemy locations
