MIDI Control for Strymon Pedals

In addition to the MIDI capabilities of our larger pedals, our latest compact pedals all feature 1/4" TRS MIDI that you can access via our MIDI EXP Cable or a 1/4" MIDI distribution box. Control preset changes, all knobs and switches, and more. In this video you'll see some examples of how you can use MIDI to control the Strymon pedals on your board.

MIDI stands for Musical Instrument Digital Interface, and it is a technical standard first published in 1981 to describe how electronic musical instruments such as synthesizers could communicate with each other to send and receive preset changes and other information so that multiple instruments and devices can work together as a system. The MIDI standard has been adopted by hundreds of musical instrument manufacturers since its creation. It's most common in the synthesizer and electronic music world, but MIDI can also be a very powerful tool on a guitar effects pedalboard, especially if you want to control several pedals at once.

Just set the Riverside EXP jack to receive midi & had no problems at all creating several different pedal settings for octaswitch presets. Soooo cool.

Please make nixie as a VST plugin with the ability to automate settings. This will allow TimeLine to be used in studio work even more conveniently.

I have a Moog Subsequent 37 going to a timeline and big sky. Is it possible to automatically switch presets on the pedals by changing the presets on the Moog? For example, if I clicked on preset 1 on the moog it would change the timeline and big sky’s presets to the settings I created for that sound.

If so, can you tell me how or direct me to a link where I can see that?

You just came out with the Conduit, which takes MIDI messages and pushes them to your flagship pedals (Big Sky, Timeline, Mobius) via TRS; correct???? So with the correct firmware, do these 3 pedals now also receive MIDI Messages over TRS? I’m kind of confused….. Thanks

I can’t update my Riverside firmware, Strymon Update isn’t recognizing the pedal. Any solution?

MIDI feature is attractive, but I still cannot control Strymon Iridium from my simple MIDI footswitch (made by YAMAHA: MFC06). I spent one day to struggle with them but cannot. I hope some videos to instruct the MIDI connection usage will be provided, and if it is possible, some instructors will help me to solve the problem.

However, I believe Iridium's MIDI control feature is very attractive and useful.
