It’s not about the familiarity of CarPlay/Android auto, it’s about how long will GM actually support these apps to stay functional?

CarPlay is a fairly cheap and easy way to implement stuff and all the software updates are the developers responsibility, not GM.

Finally, some more GM reviews. What I like to see topher 👍👍

That hum is aggravating. I would not be able to deal with that for long. I’m also concerned about that charging door failing to open just as the warranty wears out. No CarPlay is a deal breaker long term. The sound system was incredibly disappointing considering the price of the car…should be a Bose system. I do like the look of the vehicle, like that it has normal door handles, and I like the storage layout of the front console. Get rid of the hum, add back CarPlay and a normal charging door, and I think I’d be interested.

Great review, Topher.

Looks very nice. Very impressed with what GM is putting out lately. It's about time.

i miss my 2000 Blazer sport 4x4. That engine was INSANELY good. Best truck I ever owned. Took it from 120k KM to 275k KM

What sucks is that bc government gives a rebate the car manufacturers up the cost so the rebate doesn’t really help.

The front trunk is great for putting take out food so it doesn't stink up your car.

I was thinking about a lease. But lot of complaints about these online - all kinds of software glitches - even today after the stop sale issues have been fixed.

You need to try the RWD with the Bose Sound system

Big fan I was wondering if you could review the 2011 Buick Regal probably hard to review cause you got to borrow it from someone but my parents own it and I would love to see a good review on it

Looks decent, but priced a bit too high for what it looks like. Probably GM couldn't get their manufacturing costs down, but this would be a much stronger car if it were about $10k less.

Eh, not terribly exciting but could be worse. I would want to wait for the SS no question. My gf had the ICE RS a few years, was a decent vehicle for the segment so I'd be curious how it compares and differs, good and bad. I'm a bit torn on the exterior but it follows GM's new EV design language. I've seen a few Sierra EV around the Novi West Bloomfield area, I think they did a nice job on those. Hopefully you'll get a chance to review one soon, take care stay safe

Love it but possible engineering flaw on that charge port already have a feeling consumers are going to have issues with that little motorized door wether it be ice or it just getting stuck

I really don't like the dash there's 3 feet of plastic between those screens and the windscreen, the Prologue looks a lot cleaner inside and has more buttons!

Man the cheapness of the plastics, the way they look and sound of the doors, the way the rear seats bounce when put down... it's so palpable. I could not live with that build quality for what this costs

I picked up an LT about two months ago as a lease with an absolutely insane set of rebates ($12000 CAD ev incentive plus a bunch of other dealer rebates) meaning my monthly lease rate is about $140 more than i was paying for my 2019 Nissan Qashqai and I've honestly been super happy with it thus far. My infotainment blank screened on me once but turning off and turning back on was enough to fix the issue. Overall i have been super happy with it but I'd never consider financing it or buying out the remaining balance at the end of my lease.
